R & L Engines is a 6,000 square foot state of the art engine rebuilding and machining facility. Our shop is equipped with the latest machining technology including CNC Block Blueprinting Machining Center. Our expert technicians will achieve the exacting tolerances required for high performing Vintage, Performance, Race and Marine engines. The use of specialized fixtures allows R & L to blueprint engines producing results far superior than the original manufacturers. With over 42 years of experience R&L Engines has the ability to remanufacture and restore classic, marine and vintage engines dating back to the 1920'S.
State of the art machining capabilities operated by expert machinists that are ASE certified as well. These machines are specifically designed for High Performance Engine Blue Printing machining operations. Custom machined components 1 part at a time. OEM use the pan rail as the machining Datum. This is why deck heights are off, as are cylinder locations and even lifter bore distances. R & L has invested in CNC Equipment and has developed figures and machining processes to correct bore center spacing , deck heights and lifter bore locations. Our fixtures is based from the main line and cam shaft centerline. The process will increase horse power while Improving overall engine performance. Jesse our ASE Certified Expert Master Machinist will Blueprint your Engine on the Rottler F69A CNC Machining Center by correcting all critical dimensions to the crankshaft and camshaft centerline utilzing the main and cam centerline with our CNC probing routine
